What They Should Be Wearing- Academy Awards

I don't know about you, but I am so excited for the Oscars tomorrow!!! Well, let me rephrase that...I'm sort of excited about the actual show (it's always SO LONG...) but the anticipation for the red carpet is killing me. I know there are sure to be some hits and misses when it comes to the gowns selected, so I thought I'd help the celebrities out with some fashion that I know would look fantastic on them. I'm excited to see if they pick my looks (haha!).

Emma Stone- Armani Prive Spring 2012 Couture

Michelle Williams- Elie Saab Fall 2011 Couture

Natalie Portman- Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2012

Penelope Cruz- Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2012

Angelina Jolie- Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012

Cameron Diaz- Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Couture

Octavia Spencer- Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture

What do you hope your favorite actresses wear tomorrow? Can you tell that I'm hoping to see some color on that red carpet???

Don't forget that Snapshot Fashion is hosting a Google+ hangout where we'll chat about the red carpet looks while watching E!'s coverage. There is still time to join. Just shoot me and email and I'll get you on the list. Only a couple spots remain...so don't wait!

Would You Wear This?

Dakota Fanning showed up to the Proenza Schouler show wearing their design. I absolutely am in love with this print. It's so young, bold, and fun! But I can honestly say that I hate the length of this on Dakota. Too long...too straight...it just doesn't work. I would love to see this piece in a knee length (or just above the knee) A-line. Or maybe if it was just hemmed to the knee. I just think that it's too long on her and this frock just makes her look stumpy.

What are your thoughts? Would you wear this look?

Fun With UnitedStyles

I recently came across UnitedStyles. It's a really cool site where you can create your own fashion. They give you designs you can customize adding in color, print, pockets, sleeve length, etc. I'm having so much fun playing around on this site. It's bringing my fashion designer dreams I had when I was a kid to life.

Something that is really cool about UnitedStyles is that they have a Fashion Bloggers Contest going on where every Monday they pick a someone's design...and they win their look! How cool is that??? I have created a very simple dress that I color blocked in my favorite color combo: pink & red. This dress is totally work appropriate and it is screaming Valentine's Day...don't you think?

*Body Central Style*

I was beyond trilled when Body Central recently sent over some tops and accessories for me to review. Opening up a box filled with cute tops and adorable accessories put the biggest smile on my face!

cardigan- c/o Body Central, lace tank- c/o Body Central, purple tank- Sparkle, jeans- H&M, shoes- Aldo, belt- c/o Body Central, necklace- gift

This outfit was so feminine with all of the pink/purple, flowers, and lace that I thought adding a fashion belt would be the perfect accessory to toughen it up a bit.

This look is going to be perfect for the spring, don't you agree? Actually, with this crazy 50-60 degree weather it's really perfect for right now!

crochet poncho- c/o Body Central, tee- SO, jeans- BDG, boots- Gomax

Now I'm going to 100% honest with you...I'm normally not a fan of ponchos. But this particular one has stolen my heart! It's really light, colorful, and has some added sparkle in it. This poncho really reminds me of something someone in Spain would wear. It really adds so much to a simple outfit. It's like a cardigan, necklace, and scarf all in one. I love it!!!

jacket- Highway Jeans c/o Body Central, dress- American Eagle Outfitters, necklace- c/o Body Central, shoes- Charlotte Ronson

Adding a denim jacket to any outfit makes it instantly stylish. I decided to pair this cropped denim jacket and statement necklace with a basic black maxi dress. It really brings a very basic look up tot he next level.

Be sure to stop by Body Central's website, or visit one of their 240 stores in 23 states across the country. Their items are trendy and wallet friendly (which I love!). Let us know what your favorite look from their collection is.
